The artistic project “Dentro” by Alba Suau inaugurates the artistic proposal for the 23rd edition of the Nit de L’Art. The tireless search for creativity drives us to present an exhibition that can be visited in our space from September 16 to October 12.

The artistic proposal of the young and promising Mallorcan artist Alba Suau (Pollença, 1997), opens the exhibition to commemorate the contemporary art event in the city of Palma for yet another year. The proposal invites us to discover, enjoy and share the sweet and dreamlike world of the artist. A painting sample that introduces us to the creator’s need for recollection. The work appeals to the need for recollection and evocation that inspires her particular artistic vision.

As a consequence of having grown up on an island, the artist’s interest in the ideas of ‘island’ and ‘isolation’ underlies. Her experience around the concept of isolation invites us to stop and remain at a slow pace in a kind of refuge. A work sensitive to the physical and social environment that evolves according to the new places in which it finds itself.
