Natalia Lisinicchia

Natalia Lisinicchia (Barcelona, 1994) Illustrator, serigraphist, artist and queer muralist based in Formentera since 2018.

When Lisinicchia had the opportunity to choose what she wanted to do, she oscillated between sexology and illustration. Continuing on the path of the plastic opened up the possibility of using art as a method to transmit from the popular and the everyday concepts, such as desire and sexuality, which for her are transformative. The artist enabled her to inhabit the illustration as a way through which she deconstruct the normative ideas of the body and sexuality and capture other imaginaries in this regard.
Thus, from her transfeminist perspective, her works explore sexuality, sensuality and the deconstruction of gender.

Her aesthetic formula and her singular sensitivity when addressing these issues is to soften the information through the naive; Reach a larger audience through the Pop; Call attention through color; Bring the message from the symbolic.

Natalia Lisinicchia’s career is based on self-management and community. Many of the concepts and knowledge that he has acquired have been traveling and learning from other artists, including workshops, collectives and professionals such as Czentrifuga (Berlin, Germany), Samenschool (Antwerp, Belgium), MUTUO (Barcelona, Spain ), Taller la Roda (Barcelona, Spain), Taller la Veta (Valparaíso, Chile), Lao Moy (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Marcelo Carpita (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Casona de Flores Collective Serigraphy (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Arara Office (Porto, Portugal) or Isidro Ferrer (Huesca, Spain).
